Just a trip to Morocco, you might need to visit the Middle Atlas. Well recognized for its cedar forests and Barbary macaques, It is a region less popular with tourists than the High Atlas but consists of heavily forested slopes. Surely! You wouldn’t want to miss the trip for any reason. The Middle Atlas is a region that is located between and can be accessed from places like Fez and Marrakech. The Middle Atlas is the northernmost and out of the three main Atlas Mountains, the second chains of Morocco.
Our luxurious trip starts from Fez at around 8:00 am, and we journey down to the breadbasket of Morocco, to the foothills of the Middle Atlas Ranges and the small town of Sefrou. There is a beautiful waterfall close to the town, we will make a halt here, spend some quality time, enjoy the view and take a good quality picture. The town is a cool and interesting place to be.
We will then continue the journey and pass through the village of Bill which is famous for it cave dwellings, we will later move to Ifrane, a winter ski resort and a summer hideaway for the rich Moroccans that wishes to excuse the stress and heat of the large cities.
We will take lunch and head down the road that leads to the edge of the Cedar forest which is not far from the to Azrou. Here, you will have the opportunity to stroll into the forest, and if you want to, you will also get to feed the Barbary macaques which are an endangered species.
By evening, we will return from the forest and head back to Fes by late evening.
