Have you been longing to take a desert tour from Casablanca to Marrakesh? Wow! You are indeed in the right place. Enhance and add to your beautiful memories with luxurious views, foods and excursions, amazing right? Casablanca, being one of the largest financial centers on the continent, and also Morocco’s chief port, founded and settled by the Berbers and used as a port by the Phoenicians and later by the Romans. Casablanca’s French colonial legacy is viewed in its downtown Mauresque architecture, a blend of Moorish style and European art deco.
From Casablanca, we journey down to Fes. Upon our arrival in the city of Fes, we catch a lot of fun and pay a visit to the Medina of Fes which is declared by the UNESCO world heritage, and other fun places such as the Kasbahs, the palaces, the gardens, and the Jewish quarters. After these activities, the night will be spent in Fes.
After breakfast in the morning, we would journey down to Atlas Mountain ski resort of Ifrane. This location is often regarded as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” we make a halt at the Berber village in Cedar forest known as Azrou. Here, we will watch and have fun with the barbarian apes. We would then move to Midelt and have lunch. After lunch, we will take a tour through the Ziz valley, on the way to Erfoud, which is regarded as the capital of fossils. Then on to Rissani, and Merzouga desert. Our expert camel guide would lead us for a camel ride for about 60minutes to the Sahara camp. This is where the night would be spent with Berber music drum songs.
We set for Rissani and Tinghir and we get to the popular “Todra gorges.” the Todra gorges has been recognized to be the highest gorge in Morocco. We would then continue with a tour through the Dade valley while taking unlimited photos of the Monkey toes (rock formation). The night would be spent in an hotel with necessary provisions for dinner.
The last day of the tour is governed by our trip to Marrakesh. We approach Marrakesh via Dades valley and the valley of roses (Kalaat Mgouna). We take a halt at Ouarzazate and visit fun places such as the movies, and tour of the largest Kasbah in Morocco. After much fun, we journey down to Marrakesh.
