The Morocco’s capital city is located along the shores of the Bouregreg River and the Atlantic Ocean.. Rabat is well recognized for its notable features that points to its Islamic and French-colonial heritage, without excluding the Kasbah of the Udayas. This city happens to be the capital of Morocco, founded by Almohads, and with a good population ranking the city as the 17th largest in the country.
After the meet up and necessary refreshments at Rabat, we will drive to Fes. On our way to Fes, we will stop at Meknes which is a city based under the mountains of the Middle Atlas. During our time around this place, we will visit fun locations like the Volubilis (Roman ruins), etc. After having enough fun, we will have our Lunch at Meknes and head on to Fes once we are done. We will get to Fes by late afternoon or early evening, get a hotel to accommodate us, have dinner, and spend the night in Fes.
The following day and after breakfast, the day will be full of excursions all through the great city of Fes with unlimited photos and beautiful scenes to behold. The city of Fes is divided into three parts; the old part (Fes el Bali), the new (Fes el Jedid) and ville nouvelle, the French part. With the unique and endless streets attached to these locations, individuals on trips to these locations do not leave with regrets. We will pay some visits to places like the Jewish quarters, the plaza of the dyers, the old part of the city which is Fes el Bali, the new part of the city which is Fes el Jedid, and other fun and remarkable places. We will then spend the night here in the city of Fes.
After breakfast the following morning, we would take a trip to Merzouga. Before our final destination at Merzouga, we would get to locations like Ifrane, Midelt and Ziz valley. During the journey, we would enter the Atlas Mountain; a colder and beautiful place. We will go through Azrou, and then Midelt. There will be a short break for lunch, after which will be followed by the trip to Ziz valley. We will get to Merzouga later at noon and we will make necessary preparations for spending the night at the tent. We will then prepare and after about 90minutes, we will get to the camp having enjoyed the beautiful scenes and bright colored sand. At night, we will enjoy the drums, music and campfire while we have dinner.
We will continue our journey to Marrakesh in the morning passing along the high atlas which would create another big opportunity to explore and take unlimited pictures.
