Would you like to take some time off exploring a beautiful place in Morocco? Heard of Chefchaouen ; the city of beautiful walls and views? Then, this is the perfect time and place you would not want to miss.
Famous for its astonishing walls and views, Chefchaouen is indeed one of the beautiful places in the whole of Morocco. The city is based in Northwest Morocco in the Rif Mountains, established in 1471 by Moulay Ali Ben Moussa, and attracting good number of tourists. Trust me! If in one way or the other you find yourself in Morocco, a trip you do not want to miss is the trip from Fez to Chefchaouen.
Early in the morning of the first day, around 8:30am, we would begin our journey from Fez after which we would spend quality time in the city. With high regards to the city as the country’s cultural capital, the city of Fes is the second largest which is based in northern inland of Morocco. Of course! Since the city of Fez is one if not the oldest imperial city in the whole of Morocco, it has quite a good and interesting historic background with lots of places to visit. First of all, we would visit the royal palace, and then visit other lovely and fun-filled places like the Jewish quarter, the Moulay Abdalllah Quarter, Fes el-jeded. We would also explore places like the Fes el Bali; featured as a sea of rooftops, and also the Karaouiyine Mosque. We won’t also stop at that, there are other important buildings in Fez that we would be visiting, like the Dar el-Magana, the UNESCO site, etc. the first night would be spent in Fes.
In the morning of the next day, our fun-filled trip would be through the beautiful Dam Achahad and Rif Mountains. On getting to the Dam Achahad and Rif Mountains, we will halt the journey for a day to enjoy the perfect scene, cool breeze and snap an unlimited number of pictures. Surely, the Rif Mountains has a very unique and interesting feature that also includes a perfect view of nature, etc. we would enjoy all of this and get a hotel or riad to spend the night.
We would take another round of unique experience taking our trip down to Chefchaouen . After having our meal in the morning, we would find our path to the beautiful city and enjoy our walk through its narrow street full of blue houses. Add another handful experience to your island of good moments learning about the authentic local handicraft, the great monuments, and the view of watching the world go by. We would have a good quality time through Chefchaouen , have our lunch, and spend the night in a Riad or hotel.
On the last day of our trip, we would take another around through the city while your guide sheds more light on issues related to the Moroccan history and culture. We would get to visit the greatly restored walled fortress referred to as Kasbah, the Grande Mosque and other great monuments. By 6:00pm in the evening, we would head back to Fez.
